Bubble Leak Testing Course for Level I/II Personnel (SNT-TC-1A/CP-189) - FOR ME

This 6-hour course is for personnel who perform bubble leak testing that requires certification in accordance with the American Society of Nondestructive Testing Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, Personnel Qualification and Certification of Nondestructive Testing, and CP-189, Standard for Qualification and Certification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel.  This course was designed using the course curriculum provided in CP-105, Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of NDT Personnel and fulfills the classroom training hours recommended in SNT-TC-1A for this technique.  

This training provides the general theory portion of the qualification testing including administering an end of course General Theory Examination.  Passing this examination will provide one-third of the necessary qualification testing needed to become qualified as a Bubble Leak Testing Level II inspector.  Other testing necessary to become fully qualified is a specific written test applicable to the procedures used at your facility and practical testing that demonstrates your capability to perform this technique satisfactorily.
